For each issue of Oh Comely magazine a guest illustrator creates a series of drawings and I’m excited to have participated in the Winter Issue! The drawings are based around the old tale of Pandora’s Box as the issues’ theme is Secrets and along with 4 chapter openers and endpapers by me you can also read an interview about my screenprinting process if you feel so inclined.
The Future Kept run the most beautiful online store which I cannot recommend enough so it was a real pleasure collaborating with them on this limited edition print which you can buy on their website here: The Future Kept. They also have a really nice instagram account that’s worth checking out! The photo above is by the Future Kept.
If you have a smooth handful of millions to spare look no further than Compass, a real estate company based in the US. For their Christmas social media campaign I illustrated some of their favorite fireplaces which were then animated. My aspirational Pinterest boards found their purpose at last! You can see one of the animations here on the Compass Twitter account.
The 2016 calendar is here! In it’s 3rd year running this year is the biggest edition yet. The tattooed lady with the knowing smile (a Mona Lisa of the modern age if you will) is ready to be both a decorative and practical addition to your home. The dates are 100% accurate which I know because I quadruple checked as I am nothing if not thorough/terrified of getting it wrong. As last year the calendar features archival Heritage paper & expert printing by the wonderful Luma Studio. The first 200 calendars are already out in the world so if you’d like to order yours you can do so here: 2016 Calendar on Etsy.
A little sketch I did for Halloween. Don’t you sometimes wish you could carve your head clean out? A girl can dream.
No puns here. Just a lady with a pear. Did you know a certain type of pear can help prevent a hangover if eaten before drinking excessively? Don’t say I never give you anything, that is super helpful knowledge. Please drink responsibly.
A little feature about me and my Etsy shop can be found in this Illustration Special of the Dutch edition of FLOW magazine. Thanks to Anneke Bots for the very pleasant interview! I *think* I come across ok, but if there’s any Dutch speakers out there please confirm/deny. Hartelijk bedankt!
